As a writer / producer and musician, Drew McCulloch has worked for Sir Cliff Richard, Gary Numan, Jim Davidson, Go West, Isla St Clair, Denny Lane, and many others. He now writes music for TV and radio, as well as recording 3 studio albums of original songs. His 1974 album “A Salty Tale” lay gathering dust for 30 years before being finally released in 2007. It has been called a forgotten treasure and is a who’s who of great session players including members of Fairport Convention, Wings, Cat Stevens and Elvis Costello.

A native of Maryhill, Mick has been gigging since he was a teenager.
In the seventies he was a member of Glasgow rockers The Khyber Trifles who were managed and produced by Wings guitarist Jimmy McCulloch. Following that, Mick went on to release several indie singles with his band, Shady Deal.
I grew up in a musical family ... My Mum and Dad both sang and entertained and played Banjo Ukulele and Guitar and Piano respectively. My Nana, on my Mum's side played Violin in the silent movies and her father was a church organist and composer and frequently played the inaugural performance of a new organ at churches and venues throughout the country and abroad, known as the opening of the Organ.
